Teddy obtained his Junior Warrant in January 2016 and Stud Book Number

Teddy joined us in September 2014 and was bred by Gay Roberston of Moonlake Whippets.  He is a wonderful boy to live with and has the sweetest temperament.  He fitted in like he has always been here and soon became very much part of the furniture!

He is sired by the famous CH Shalfleet Simly A Lord (Troy) who is bred, owned and handled by Jane Wilton-Clark. 

Troy is the current Dog CC Breed Record holder, UK Top Whippet 2013 & 2014 and UK Top Hound 2013.

Ted's dam is Moonlake Mazda (Fickle). Fickle is a beautiful, petite, feminine bitch who is from a long line of sucsessful Coursing and Show Whippets. Fickle has herself had many credible wins in the UK and in Europe.

Ted gained his Junior Warrant and subsiquent Stud Book Number in January 2016, he has had numerous show wins at Open and Championship Level including Best Racing & Coursing Whippet In Show at East Anglian Whippet Club Champ Show in July 2016.

After his big win at EAWC, we decided that Ted would be retired from the show ring, except for the odd Lure Coursing Class or Crufts, to focus on his Lure Coursing and Racing career. 

Teddy had a slow introduction to Lure Coursing in 2016 and will hopefully participate more on the field in 2017.
