Zorro was our unintentional keeper from our 2017 litter.  His bizarre colouring made him much of a talking point at home and also via our social media.

Born Silver with a black section down his spine, it was clear that he wasnt blue but also that he wasn't black....WHAT WAS HE?

With some help from geneticists, it transpired that he could only be a very heavily shaded fawn.... later to show brindling!

Zorro has had the most amazing start to his lure coursing career.  

Sporting Whippet Club runner up for dogs under 20" in 3 competitions.

Zorro dipped his toe into the championship show ring at Windsor 2018, competing in the Racing & Lure Coursing Class.

We were very proud of his 1st placing under breed specialist Caroline Osborne (Derohan).

1. Glasspool/Manners MANNERPOOL IT’S A FINE LIFE. Sable with moderate angulation throughout. He has a good topline and the ratio of rib to loin length is OK but, aesthetically, I would prefer a little more overall body length to give him better scope standing. Shown in fit condition, as I would expect in this class, and his was the best movement of the day, he has a true, easy gait and is light on his feet.

Zorro also competed at Broadlands Game Fair, coming 2nd in the whippet racing, 1st in the whippet show class and sucsessfully completeing the hurdles course.

We hope to get Zorro cleared for racing this summer.
